Thanks for the hint that "/ = Divided by"
2 = (10 + Z) / -3

-6 = (10 + z)
Z = -16

testing...

2 = 10 -16 / -3
2 = -6 / -3

2 = 2

Yep

First, you multiply by -3 on both sides and get

2 x -3 = 10 + z

Then, you subtract 10 from both sides.

2 x -3 - 10 = z

Then just multiple 2 and -3, then subtract 10 and you have your answer.

Divide both sides by 2, which you'll multiply the right by two since it is a double denominator.

20+2z/-3=1

2z/-3=-19 (subtract 20)

2z=57 (multiply by -3)

z=28.5

2 = (10 + z) / (-3)
Multiply both sides by -3:
-6 = 10 + z
Add 10 to both sides:
2 = z

Hope I helped!
