Please show me how to work out the following problem:

2 = (10 + z)/ -3

/ = divided by

-6 = 10 +z
-16 = z

2 = (10 + z)/ -3 (=)

-3*2 = (10 + z)(=)

-6-10 = z (=)

z = -16

2 = (10+z)/-3 cross multiply
-6 = 10+z isolate z
-6+-10 = z
-16=z

Check: Does 2=(10+(-16))/-3 ?

2=(-6)/-3
2=2
