Dany Heatley was the driver of the car, Dan Snyder was the passenger. There were no others in the vehicle. Heatley had consumed some alcohol but was not intoxicated. I don't know where you heard his girlfriend was in the car, because it just isn't true. Go tell whoever told you that that they are stupid.

On September 29, 2003, Snyder was critically injured after the Ferrari 360 Modena being driven by his teammate Dany Heatley struck a wall along Atlanta's Lenox Road. Both players were ejected from the car, which was split in half by the force of the impact. Snyder suffered a fractured skull and internal brain injuries due to the rapid acceleration/deceleration incident. He lapsed into a coma following emergency surgery, and died six days later on October 5 as a result of his injuries complicated by a subsequently-acquired infection.

Heatley was charged with vehicular homicide as a result of the crash. He pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain a lane, and speeding. He was sentenced to three years probation for his crime.

so which you do no longer think of he's a murderer, yet you felt the ought to submit a question asking no rely if or no longer he's? I won't even attempt to describe that. For the checklist...this occasion is over and completed and has been completed for quite a few years. in basic terms via fact some human beings have formed a set of fellow idiots on line helping this baseless thought does no longer make it top. there is in all danger a flat-earth society on line as properly...are we going to have that talk as properly? the story of Dany Heatley (and the tragic death of Dan Snyder) has been informed and retold previous any useful purpose. The information are huge-unfold. The Snyder kin has shown great forgiveness to Mr Heatley, who in turn, has confirmed great remorseful approximately and guilt over the incident. He become no longer below the impact of alcohol (that's consistent with the state of Georgia, who become the authority on the difficulty). Repeat that as generally as you like. Your assertion that Mr Heatley become below the impact of alcohol is a lie. you may, and could, be observed on expenditures of libel for making this style of assertion.

His teammate was killed. They were the only two in the car. He was DRUNK and DRIVING WAY TOO FAST. I believe they clocked the car at like 90+ MPH at the time of the crash. I don't know of him as a player. I lost all respect for him after that crash. Driving drunk is stupid. Driving that fast is stupid. Doing them togther and I have NO respect for you. Thank God he only ended up killing the guy that got in the car with him. What a loss though.
