Your question was what is the purpose of meaning, so you decided to ask the question based on meaning and can we even comprehend the question, is if we did not speak the language in which this question was asked. So now i will answer your question in detail, you know what I mean, so there would not be questions about your question, you know what I mean, you then answer your own question with No I don't think so, you know what I mean. That is my meaning about your question on meaning.

Meaning may be the difference of will to live and will to die.... if you have meaning in your life for something things will be better if you don't then you don't have a reason to live. Its a question that is the one for me as in Love.. you are suppose to love your family but how do you really know you love this person??

meaning is representation; how do you know that smoke means fire? does it mean this? its what lets you choose the best, most appropriate course of action and then act upon it, with the understanding that your actions will represent something to another person, thereby giving your actions meaning to them.

how you explain representation is a whole other ball of wax.

The Purpose of Meaning:

To clarify and define the Logic of what is and what is not; which guides, directs, and focuses Free Will to exercise the principles that causes life to consist relative to the function of the defined Logic - the purpose of why it is.

For example:

What is the Meaning (Purpose) of Life?

The Meaning of Life is the answer to THIS question:

God, what is Your purpose of Existence?

For God's purpose of Existence itself defines the purpose of all that exists.

I asked God that question...

God answered, "My purpose of Existence is To give life. Since you are made in My image after My likeness, then YOUR purpose of existence is to give life."

Everything that exists is an expression of God's thinking; thus, everything reflects God's thinking.

God gives life by His unique existence, and receives life when He gives life. All of existence gives life by its unique existence to that which receives life from its unique existence. This is Nature - the union of all living (eternal) things.

You are here to give life by your unique existence to that which receives life from your unique existence. So do what you love that nourishes those who love what you love.

This is your purpose.

To give life.
