Since most drug plans want drugs prescribed in 90 day supplies, what is the amount considered normal for a 90 day supply of Viagra?

I've been a pharmacy tech for a few years now and normally for that class of drugs you are not suppose to take more then 1 tablet in a 3 day period (that's the dosage on the package from the manufacturer, maybe try their website, Pfizer makes that med). So u could probably do 10 tabs a month, or 30 for 90 days, but I have not yet seen one insurance company pay for a 90 day supply of that med (probably cuz it is too expensive). Even if your doctor wrote for 18 tablets we first bill your insurance for 18 tablets for 18 days, some insurances except, others say, they will only pay for 12, or maybe even only 6 tablets every 21 to 30 days. I hope Iwas some help to u!!!

6-8 pills a month...if you can get the 100 mg pills and cut them in half as most guys need only 50 mg. You will have plenty extra.

normal wil be what ever your plan pays for. I would check with your ins. plan to see if they pay for Viagra. Some do not..
