is it easy to get a BA degree.?

Question

I have an associates from community college, but is a real college/university life different? I hear stuff all the time, someone told me that college is not hard it's game and once you figure it out its easy. What does that mean?
I plan on taking 18 credits and getting done in 3 semesters, is that too much?

Eng, math or sciences are definitely tougher because they require very specifica skill sets that require practice (like piano) to become good at.

A BA can be very useful if you are motivated to actually think about the material. If you approach it as a game, then yes, you'll get your dipoma, but like so many thousands of others you may have trouble finding work. If you treat your studies like a full time job, then you will develop critical thinking skills. Some philosophy courses are good for this. Econ often falls under the Arts umbrella and is very useful if you want to work in business. The other kind of arts degree is based more in the visual or performing arts. I think people know themselves if they fall into that camp.

So, in summary, getting a BA is not easy, per se, but it is possible for most people to obtain. What you get out of it is up to you.

I agree with Mike. The tech stuff is hard. Other stuff, not so much. However, at The University of Tennessee, where I went the Engineering students had the best of everything. They had an advising DEPARTMENT. In Psych I just had part time advisers. Anything with an Eng on the end of it is good stuff for employment, too.

the people who said it was a game majored in something like Business or communications, politcal science. if you take engineering or a science,its pretty hard and alot of work.
