I use the tube Carmex everynight before going to bed and use Burts Bees (the honey kind, though the regular kind is just as good) during the day.I have NEVER had dry lips. EVER. Even though I am attending school in Idaho and its freezing/very dry during the winter. The combination is amazing.

iF you have dry lips, take some advice from an old spinster seamstress that knows the ins and outs of all dryness problems. from head to toe and all in between.....you need oil! Olive oil! Its good for your health. It will nourish you and your lips and also some petroleum jelly does wonders. Avoid the cold, and do not bite those lips, Maintain a wholesome diet, as in my opinion none of you young ones are eating enough fruit!

1. Try not to lick your lips, I know its hard. But when you do it becomes more dry.
2. Drink water it helps a lot, that can be the problem.
3. Try carmex and Vaseline
4. Also if you put to much they can become dry

Yeah you will get pink lips certainly with tips from honey and suger. Honey moisturizes our pores and skin and facilitates to offer new pores and skin cells on our lips pores and skin. I swear by Aquaphor. It's made by the people that make Eucerin, and you can buy it at the drugstore in little tubes. I found it when I was on Accutane which made my lips so dry that they would peel.

i use chapstick. it looks natural, not overly shiny and it takes on a matte look. i put it on either alone or before i put on lipstick. My brother also says dry lips are often caused when you don't rinse your mouth properly after brushing, especially bfore going to bed. I don't know where he got that but then he says so.

Carmex rocks!!!!!! Kinda tingly, but does a great job to soothe and smooth.
