Yes and no. Yes in the sense that like the belief in evolution those that have abortions or do any thing else against their conscience now have an excuse for doing these things. You see, to believe in evolution means you are accountable to no higher power. If there is no God then there is no judgment. Therefore, feel free to do anything you want. You are just going to become worm food anyways. Life is meaningless. Christians just try to warn you that when you break God's law you will have to pay for your sins, and I wouldn't want to face the wrath of God.

Yes, in the sense that many people now believe they are no longer accountable to God for their actions. However, one can be an atheist and still logically conclude that abortion is wrong, based simply on the fact that every abortion kills an innocent human being.

Belief = believing without any evidence. Evolution has evidence therefore there's no belief in it.

I thought society basically just says "woman's choice" in some states in regards to abortion.

They are two completely different things. The only thing that could possibly be the same about them is that many Christians disagree with both.
