I have had two ferrets and my favorite one was named "Rikki Tikki Tavi' after the story about one.
I stand corrected, the animal in the story was a mongoose....

i have had other exotic pets, but i highly DONT recommend having skunks, raccoons etc, they are not meant to be kept as pets and I believe they are protected......remember folks, these are wild animals and are not meant to be kept as house pets........have a doggie or kitten, or even a cute guinea pig, they make nice pets for families with children over the age of 5-6.......it helps to teach youngsters about responsibility as pet owners..........enjoy your pet!!!! ferrets are fun, but can be very very inquisitive and mischievious!!!,and they can bite when alarmed!!!! watch your fingers!!!! lol

is it male or female? You can call it Zoie or Chloe for a girl and Farmer or Spanks for a male. I had two female and guess what i called them ? ha ha
They are so much fun. Take good care of it and make sure you at least get its shots one time. We kept ours just like a cat. It played outside its cage all day and knew it could go in and out to eat and use its litter box. And they would sleep right in bed with us. God Love them, they have passed a year apart just last year. Had them many happy years

I have 2 ferrets, my first is a hob and he was named Freddie when we got him but I love the name Ralf for a hob or Hobson. I recently got an unnamed jill and I called her Hattie sooooo cute.(I think!) She's way chubby so we call her Hattie Fattie Bum Bum LOL!! xx
