Did you install a wireless network adapter?

Sometimes if you install a wireless network adapter, the log on screen gets disabled. If you go to the control panel and user options it wont let you change it back to the normal windows log on screen. You'd have to go to the registry and delete the entry with gtgina.dll or delete the adapter drivers.

Go to control panel, select user accounts, then pick "Change how users log on." Make sure the both boxes are checked.

Hi gavnjo, you need to check out the security settings which, depending on your browser (eg Firefox, etc.) and the Operating System (eg Windows......, etc.), can usually be found via your browsers drop-down menu of Tools, then Options, then Security, then set passwords.

Alternatively it can done from your desktop via the Windows key on your keyboard, then Settings, then look for the path appropriate to your OS.

But you must have Administrator status to access and change these settings. If you don't, you need to ask the person that changed it to change it back.

go to "user account" in control panel and click "change the way users log on and off". pick an option and apply it.
then see if that's what you want. if all else fails, click "help" or "help and support", then search or use the index. it's all there! good luck!
