With respect to Israel, we support them. In the last 10 years our support has totaled close to 3 billion. That is divided into roughly 1.2 billion in economic aid, and about 1.8 billion in military aid. Recently though, those numbers have changed slightly with economic aid being reduced and military aid being increased by a somewhat larger amount.
With respect to Saudi Arabia, They, along with Japan and China, pretty much float our economy, and our increased debt. To give you an idea, in 2003 it was estimated (and a conservative one at that!) that world investment by the Saudis was around 700 billion, and it was assumed the United States received around 60%.
And this does not count our trade deficit with the Saudis or the 1.5 million barrels of oil we purchase from them per day that the finance for us.
As far as business holding and property, you have to give that one to the Japanese. I am not able to find any hard numbers, but their holdings are more than the Middle East and Europe combined.

Well that wouldn't make sense to try and appeal to countries who are enemies now would it? We have done that in the past with the French revolution, and WWI, let's just say it wasn't pretty. Now its good you have noticed Bush really has been beating around himself and not explaining why we are sending our troops to simply give their lives up pointlessly and building up our tax and debts. With research from political books and foreign sources I have noticed that three major factors come into play for creating this war. Money invested from Saudi Arabia and Israel is only part of the problem. The main problems are 1.) Christian Zionist, just watch 700 club and you'll get the message, have this idea that Jesus is coming back down but only when the Jews are in their Holy Land, (i am by no means claiming this as a holy war however it comes it plays a significant role) 2.) Like Vietnam, sadly, when a country is weak this is the best time to drill your political views in their system in hopes of securing a political ally (unfortunately its not working out too well) thus comes number 3.) once they put their forces in the middle east they realized there is some discontent, now losing the war will prove to have drastic consequences thus in order to prevent the middle east from uniting and proving lethal to our well being. So it is a vicious cycle that we got our selves into to simply put our political influences in a weak country like Vietnam. I fear that, like Vietnam, we might have the same consequences. My suggestion, we should strive to solve our differences peacefully like Gandhi or King. I know this is a mouthful but this should encourage you to learn more about why we are hurting our country more and more with this stupid war.

My guess would be Israel. Now flip the question around and ask which country the US has more invested in and I would answer Saudi Arabia.

Hmmm, both... Alot of countries are invested in the US and vice versa. If your trying to paint the USA as Israel it doesn't fit. The Islamic extremest were stupid to hit the World Trade Center. That's the whole world buddy!
