Go to your control panel by clicking "start" then "control panel" or "start" then "settings" then control panel.

Once you are at the control panel, click "Mouse". You will then be able to change the pointer speed.

Alternatively try cleaning the touch pad with a damp cloth, or restarting your computer.

I hope this helps.

Go into my control panel and click on the mouse icon and then click the icon that says mouse movement then change the speed setting that it is set at. If it's slow that means the scale is low, but if that doesn't work, you might have to buy a new mouse, but one that plugs into your USB port.

I use an external mouse on my laptop, but you should be able to adjust the settings in control panel to make your mousepad work more the way you want it to.

Call me old-fashioned--I just like the more conventional mouse.

All I can say right now is read one person's answer. Ali H Uk has the right answer, entirely. Read his instructions, do as said, and if it doesn't work, get a USB-powered mouse. I recommend Logitech for such. Hope you get the best of luck in your situation.

Go to control panel- hardware-pointers and blah blah- change the speed (make it faster).
Or, like most of us do, get an external mouse.
