And I mean from EITHER party.

I don't feel I need some political comentator to tell me what I should think. Do you???
Does the media think the American public is too stupid to think for themselves???
Couldn't we just have the speeches on TV without all the comments from anyone from either party.

I feel the media is CREATING a lot of tension between both parties for their own gain. The news is supposed to report news not create it. I don't like the way they try to tell us how to think. I have a good brain and can do that myself.
How do you feel?

Yes, the media has their own agenda. It is funny they blow hot air longer than the president does. I would rather they don't give a commentary after it is a waste of our time. And an insult to most everyone's intelligence thinking they have to "explain" what was said to us.

Yes, you just explained the purpose of the two party system. It is to keep people's eyes off the ball. It is psychological manipulation. This is why the media is biased.

Basically both parties are the same with different faces. Does anyone think the democrats are going to later on void the unconstitutional laws that Bush has passed? It will never happen.

If people keep hearing something untrue over and over again, eventually people will believe it is true.

Thank Ronald Reagan for eliminating the "Fairness Doctrine" which gave our media fair and balanced coverage by law. The Corporate media decided that the Democratic party response was too damaging for our nation as a whole--Who are they to decide?

C-span had hotlines set up for pro/anti/military points of view. They could not get anyone to call in and side with Resident Bush. Go figure.

Sometimes people who are uneducated, need at least a recap of what was said, and analysists have to explain his position......sometimes they CAN make some good points. That is why debate is so popular. Turn the channel.

I agree 100%. After the State of the Union is one thing, but last night? That was uncalled for and it is just deeping the divide in the nation.
