Just wondering why the spirit attacked John Bell and Betsy?

dont know i was not and have not been to the site.
i really do not know much about the haunting. i am planning to go down there next year to see what i can pick up.
what i can tell you is that there are many reasons for hauntings, and possessions. sometimes it is due to negative energy caused by childhood trauma. sometimes it is simply a location that has something evil attached to it.
without first hand experience at the site, thare is not much that i can tell you. sorry

some think it had to do with poltergeist activity connected to betsy bell...

i just have real difficulty in believing this at all. i thought i would be better informed after the movie but actually made me less of a believer.

that is what is said to have happened. she actually attacked the whole family i think.
