the weather channel constantly gets weather and temp wrong... what can help it.... even futuristic stuff

Denser observations over the entire planet and into the upper atmosphere together with improvements in the physics of the numerical prediction models. But regardless of how perfect the initial conditions are and the forecast models, after approximately 14 days the atmosphere becomes chaotic and forecast disintegrate. Finally, in some parts of the globe such as the tropics, the atmosphere does not behave as it does in mid-latitudes and is often unpredictable.

Like VAG86 said, if there was more weather stations around collected data and relaying it to the NWS. It would make a differences in the forecasting.
