Can we really fight a "War on Terror" without allies?

Question

If seen many people insist they don't care what our allies/former allies think about our foreign policy.

My question is is it feasible for Americans to fight a war on terror when none of our allies or former allies will contribute to the war effort?

And doesn't ostracizing other countries inevitably leave us at a severe disadvantage when it comes to World Wars or Global efforts, seeing as we will be forced to bear the brunt of the loss of life and monetary costs?

Republicans believe very strongly in the so called "War on Terror" but don't give a moment's hesitation to how our foriegn policy has put us at a severe disadvantage in fighting it.

No, we cant win without allies, and we really don't have any except the Brits but only a few thousand, so no, we cant win this war.

Law enforcement from all over the world is participating in the War on Terror. I've lost count of how many countries have arrested and convicted al-Queda and other terrorists. Just because other countries don't commit troops to Iraq or wherever doesn't mean they're not helping.

British forces are withdrawing 4000 troops as we send ours in. Poland has 700 troops left and there a few troops of Australian, Chinese and Koreans left.

Watching the U.S. troops suffer deaths and casualties over the next six months should solidify the ouster of Resident Bush.

Terror is but a word used to scare the crap out of you, and keep you that way. It also helps convince you to give up your freedom for security. Your chances of being struck by lightning are 10 fold greater than having a terrorist take you out. So, try to relax, and be objective about all this.
