when ever I am in my kitchen and the curtains are open, a squirl comes to the window, looks in and watches what I am doing. It has actualy stared me down a couple of times. It did not make any chattering noise. It was just quite. watching my every move. it was kind of cute at first but then got creepy. what is up with that?
I keep my curtains closed now . but I would like to open them without the squirl's face in my window. it does not scare away...tried that. and I cant kill it just for being curieuos.
so then what?

Open your curtains and let the squirrel be.

We had a wild female squirrel (we named her Alice) that would spend hours watching me work in the garden. Never fed her, but she would approach me close enough to place her paws on my gloves. Almost followed me into the house a couple of times.
Alice was particularly friendly with the dog next door. Much to the collie's chagrin, Alice took great joy jumping on and off the dog's head.
Sadly, Alice met her demise under a car tire.

Get yourself a 12 bore shotgun and load it up..
Then open up the curtains and make sure that the window is slightly open, just enough to stick the 12 bore shotgun out of, place an acorn just in front of it.When Sammy Squirell shows up, tell him to have a nice day and pull the trigger. I gaurentee you wont be scared anymore and you will be able to open your curtains any time you feel like it...

Maybe it wants to be your friend.

Edit: Damn, you cowboys like to shoot anything that moves. Happiness is a warm gun, right?
