Or do you want to keep Earth the way it is, without disturbing it more than it already is?
I don't completely agree with Bobby from Fear Nothing by Dean Koontz about that subject, but it made me think...

Idealistically, I'd love to leave my mark on this world and make many changes like the end of poverty & homelessness, conservation & saving habitat & wildlife...but the earth is already so disturbed and damaged that I'm honestly not sure if it can be reversed without a concentrated effort by many more than just one.

So, pragmatically speaking...I'd rather try to leave my mark within the hearts & minds of friends, family, and loved ones. That way, no matter how dark things get after I'm gone...maybe they can close their eyes & remember something that will make them smile & give them courage to keep going.

Haven't read Fear Nothing yet so I'm not sure about Bobby's opinion, but I'll look around & try to acquire the book sometime soon.

I want to change the world...

I want to alter the status quo, make people see things in a different, kinder light... I want to leave my mark in the world so that I am not forgotten when I die. I do not want to waste these moments.

Everytime I leave a mark I have to soak them in bleach for a day to get 'em out.

I'm not trying to do anything, I just do what I do. If that leaves a mark then that's cool with me.

Yeah I think I am. I want to become one those musicians people remember and aren't completely clueless if my name comes up.

I believe in the saying "you must be the change you wish to see in the world" and I want to live up to it.

I'd rather keep it the way it is - or rather go back to the way it was and should be - pristine and pure.
