I LOVE good poetry: Mary Oliver, Nikki Giovanni, Jane Hirschfield, Jane Kenyon, William Stafford, Sonia Sanchez, Denise Levertov, Adrienne Rich, Wallace Stevens, Billy Collins, Robert Penn Warren,Wendell Berry

Billy Collins is a former poet laureate and his poetry is really good. Check out "The Lanyard" on this website: http://www.webdelsol.com/Five_Points/issues/v7n1/collins.htm. Just google Billy Collins poetry for others or you can buy his poetry at your local bookstore.

There are many books on this subject. If you want poems done by various people as of the present day, go to poems-and-quotes.com. Go to amazon.com to get a good book of past poems.
