actually suprisingly enough you are able to walk after you tear ur acl...just gingerly but u can do it without a crutch

after surgery however it is much harder because tendons get replaced to help with the recovery process

Sometimes people can walk after a torn ACL but they have a severe limp. Either way, therapy and/or surgery is needed. DO NOT ignore it and make sure you see a doctor and eventually a specialist.

Not right away it usually takes 1.5-4 weeks after surgery then its about a 12-18 month rehab plan

Why don't you go see a doctor instead of having your injuries diagnosed by people from Yahoo Answers who can't even see you?
