Get a good quality waterproof and smudgeproof mascara. I got mine at www.sephora.com and it works very well!

If you are using a pencil eyeliner, you should dust translucent powder very carefully on top of the eyeliner. Pencil liners have oils in them and when the pencil gets warmed up on your skin, it runs. So applying the translucent powder, you will absorb the oil.
If you are using a liquid liner, it shouldn't run unless you are getting it wet, or if you sweat a lot. Try using a waterproof liquid liner.

Try dusting a little loose powder under it after you put it on. Just be careful not to use too much and get it in your eye. It is supposed to help keep the eyeliner from running as much.

use a liqued eye liner that is water proof it has never fail;ed me yet (becareful cuz some brands made me break out allwasy do a tesat spot on the in side or youe elbo)

i find my liner stays on longer when i use liquid. also use a makeup primer so it will set better.

Apply a dark shadow over it . that will set it!
