i need a roommate and i want to interview them and see what they are like b4 they live with me so what kind of questions should i ask them???

Do they have good credit.( that way you will know rather or not they good at paying bills. Do they have any felons if so what.( not that they will tell you the truth but is worth the try. Do they smoke (Anything) If you have kids do they like children. And also while you asking those questions try to look at facial expressions and jesters. Don't get caught up like the chick on single white female. Be careful. And ask them do they drink (alcoholic bev) Oh and ask them about their sexuality (homo,bi,or hetero,) are they clean far as personal hygiene and enviroment,do you like having a lot of company(that you don't need) Their friend(s) may not be a person or people that you approve of. Picking a roommate is very hard and scary especially if you don't know that person so be careful. If you can ask a close friend or relative to room with you and let picking a stranger be your very last choice. Good luck.

If they are employed?Have they ever shared living quarters before? Do they agree to certain terms of the apartment such as cleaning, food, and paying the bills on time? If they can give you some references, religious beliefs just incase you are a spiritual person yourself, and why they would like to move in with a roommate. Hope I helped gl with that.

First ask them for the commitment they are desiring (6 month, month to month)
May want to know if they really are professionals or students if you don't want too much partying going on.
Ask for a reference, either job or friend.
I'm not saying be nosey running a credit report, but you should do a background check to make sure he/she isn't a criminal. Make sure you write a contract out of your agreements prior to move in.

Do you drink alot cause **** happens if they do that alot and you don't want that at all.right.You see the ugly side of them and your house might get tore up.Drunk people do stupid thigs remember.
