i think you should go. dont be afraid. overcome your fear of traveling alone. it should be fun. id love to do that someday

Absolutely, but make sure to research the location where you planning to go alone.

i haven't but a friend of mine did tho. she said she had the time of her life. she went backpacking in Europe w/ a sightseeing group. i think that is the safest way to go on your own and still have people around.

I've always wanted to go to a retreat on my own but never had the courage myself. Do it... it should be fun.
