Step back,scan the entire crowd,look away,look back very suddenly,notice if anyone is looking at you and/or is shuffling and/or is acting str angely,etc.walk away from the crowd,but don't go far,try to stay just out of sight of the crowd,but in close enough to still see it,watch for anyone walking away or otherwise acting differently from the rest of the crowd.This is not a sure positive identification but in many cases it will bring a thief out into the open,etc.In many cases,someone who has stolen something,will be very nervous.Be observant to this.

2. Reach for your secretly stored weapon of choice.
3. Begin killing indescriminately
4. Search your victims.
5. Reclaim what is yours.
