for a continuous mathematical statement, the mathematicians agreed to use MDAS (Multiplication first, followed by division, then Addition, and subtraction as the last).

changing the statement into mathematical expression:

7/(1/2)x(1/2)

(M: (1/2) x (1/2)= 1/4)

= 7/(1/4)

= 28
