Unfortunately, no. I can tell you that THIS chiquita doesn't worship any damn celebrity. What a bunch of twits most of them are!

I don't see an end coming any time soon. In this day in age we are so focused on technology and media that celebrity gossip spreads like wild fire and everyone has gotten so caught up in it that we are all just waiting to see who will do what next.

I wish it were today. Yes it has. They are only people who think they deserve to be treated like "gods". Which they are not. All the Lohans, Hiltons & Ritchie's need to just get a real job and life.

celeb worship is cyclical and generational. you are targeted from 16-30. after that, the media go after the younger generation for advertising. Soon, as you age, you'll see what I mean.
this is all about money.

I think as we get older and learn more about who these "celeb rites" really are and what they're about the fascination will wear off.
Knowing who they are is one thing....being addicted is a whole different thing.

There's no end in sight. In the middle ages, it was royalty. Today its sports people, actors, etc. There will always be people that 'have to know'.
