Will he evolve? All joking aside, what impact will he have besides him making a sick amount of $$$?

He'll make people pay attention and fill stadiums, remember what the PGA tour was like before Tiger. Pele gave US soccer a breath of life, Beckham will do the same. Everybody benefits in the end.

I think, in all seriousness, he'll bring the much needed publicity towards soccer that has been lacking in the US, it'll definitely make it popular, I doubt as popular in Europe and the rest of the world. I'm kinda excited in that sense, maybe more european players will think about signing with US teams in the future.
