I really don't have one. I am a HUGE sports fan. SPORTS fan. I live in Ames, Iowa, so I go to Iowa State sports events. Football, men's and women's basketball, wrestling, soccer, gymnastics, hockey, etc, etc. I go to sports events. Sure, it is great when Iowa State wins at home, but for me, it's watching the sport that really matters.
Here's a great example. I work for a company that is an ISU supporter and buys season tickets for football games. I asked the VP of the company if he had any tickets left over for the Iowa State versus Toledo football game, which was the first game of the season and played on a Thursday night. The game went into triple overtime with Iowa State winning 45-43 when Toledo failed to convert a 2 point Point After Try. I thought that was the most exciting live sports event I have ever seen in my life. The Iowa State fans that were surrounding me, they had another story which was a part of Coach Dan McCarney being fired as head coach of the Iowa State Cyclones football team. I am not going to say that Coach didn't deserve to get fired, but if you are reading this Coach, thank you for giving me the greatest sporting event I have seen literally since the 1980 US-USSR Olympic hockey game, and easily the greatest live sports event I have ever seen that didn't involve a TV.

Notre Dame. I love the tradition, the religious aspect (touchdown Jesus) and the fact that the graduation rates for the football team are higher than most schools.

My fave football crew: Wisconsin! competitors: Ohio State, Michigan, others round there. Bball and each and everything else: DUKE! BLUE DEVILS 4EVR! Their competitors are UNC and NC State- mainly UNC (North Carolina)
