It is true.
Someone said, live as if you were to dye today, and plan as if you were to live forever

If only everyone alive would have the attitude that you do! If only people would realize that every moment counts! Every action is significant! If only people would realize that every action exerts its' influence on something, someone, or yourself. There are no insignificant events or occurrences. It all means something! But you have to use some intelligence and effort to extract what that wisdom really is! Or you can lead your life like a fool, and live a life of emptiness and pretend it's all for nothing. It's the difference between the extraordinary and the banal. The choice is up to each individual! You are among the extraordinary!

I feel wonderful when I read this because it reminds me to enjoy every moment of my life. It doesn't relieve me of any responsibility but inspires me to live the best life I can in the moment. That assures I will have no regrets, and I'll have paved the way for a good tomorrow.
Truly every moment is a gift from God, and I'm thankful to have the grace to experience life so abundantly. Thanks for the question

I completely agree with the first part, it gives you a greater appreciation of the smaller things that would usually go unnoticed because of "that important deadline at work" of "the house that needs cleaning". I believe every moment is a gift, whether it is from God or not, I have yet to decide.

I feel this is an incredibly unrealistic philosophy. If I were to live every moment as if it were my last, I certainly wouldn't be getting up in the morning to go to work. I would want to travel, visit, eat in fabulous restaurants and all those kind of things but it's pretty hard to live without an income and you can't work a job and take years off to travel and expect to keep your job - how can you live each moment as if it was you last if you are working?

We do not live on spasms alone, young fellow, you seem to be perceptive but could be also elusive. A cunning warrior knows when to weary the enemy and when to oversee his own pasture. Previous alerts will only desintegrate your position, so further notice is necesary to subdue resistance and help sight in progress. I mean exactly a moment is not valued concerning dilemmas, so beyond experience there is ego, before only grasp, sufficient yet unusually witty for complaints and virtue itself, which gives us to life, not pardon or commitment.
Shallow images do not provide with surrender, and this is a true must to get beauty or see it in the eye of the beholder. Bye.

The gift is the ability to be able to perceive each moment as it happens. How a person feels about each moment depends upon how they perceive it and interrupt it.

The first I believe, but I just can't physically live it. And the second, I definitely do not agree because I don't believe in God. So, yeah.

I was with you until the last statement. You fight for every breath and every moment. The world is out to kill you.

I disagree. I have friends who spend money like there is no tomorrow and it has but them deep, deep in debt. To balance this, I would also add that people should not sit in front of a tv or computer, they still should get out and live their lives.
Everything in moderation, except moderation.

Not when am are pissed off (in real) YES.. but in happy times, I want it to last. Take the Good and the bad with a stride. Nothing lasts forever. Otherwise its not practical when bills have to be paid and my choice would be a holiday in Kenya. 'Get my Drift'...
