You need to tell us how much alcohol you're gonna ingest.
If you only have a glass of wine a week, the effects are negligible if any at all.
If your blood alcohol level shoots to point-4 percent or more, even one time, you could have very serious damage, or death from alcohol poisoning, or injury, etc.
Give us a better question and I'll give you a better answer.

Well, it's really, really bad if you get hammered and crash your car. Your brain might become part of the pavement.
It's merely really bad if you get hammered and get pregnant, because you won't be able to use your brain for the next 18 years.
It's moderately bad if you get drunk and nothing happens because you're likely to be disappointed try again.
It's no loss at all if you just get drunk because your brain isn't smart enough to prevent you from dumping into your body a liquid classified as a toxin that removes your self-control, makes your breath stink, makes you sick and black out, is addictive, and if ingested long enough costs you your family and your job.
How could you have a brain worth keeping if you're willing to pay good money for a liquid that does all of that?

Alcohol is very bad for both. And its even worse for teenagers. If you drink daily, then your active brain mass reduces to about less than a tenth of what someone who doesn't drinks's brain looks like.

Alcohol is not as bad for your brain as it is for your liver.
