In the long run it will be good for all players. He will definately boost attendance throughout the entire league.

From there loyalties to a cities team will result and salaries will increase for everyone.

If that's what it took to bring him here than it's worth it.

I could not pay him one $ a year but in America people believe too;too;many commercial when you guys going to see a game can any one tells me how many goals on his carrier scored to a very good defence? on my record said big 0

Yes, he's worth every penny for all the marketing, media, and attention the MLS is getting. I wouldn't pay him that much myself, but its good that he's in the US now.
