You can download tabs on-line---they have books in the library with tabs and chords, and they have 'guitar bibles' in music stores. Don't know if you 'practice' Christmas or not, but most of those songs are very easy to learn. Tabs are good, cause once you get them down, they are easy for others to recognize.

For a hard rock song, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple is just a couple of easy power chords. For an acoustic song, Time of Your Life by Green Day is just a couple of chords. However an easier acoustic song is Hotel California, by the Eagles. All of these songs are different styles, but they are all easy. Depending on taste, any one of these songs are good.
