And get out of the way so that the republicans and Bush can handle it.
Obstruction in a time of war should be a capital offense.

When Bush proposed going into Iraq, EVERYONE (Democrats, the UN, the rest of the world, even some Republicans) told him don't do it, he did it anyway. When they protested he was sending too few troops in to do the job, too little air support and too few feet on the ground he said "I know what Im doing you dont", and did it anyway, despite all the protests. HE DID IT AGAINST ALMOST EVERYONE'S ADVICE. Now he says, gee we've made a ton of screw ups in Iraq, Ive cost this country ANOTHER 3,000 lives (this time dedicated servicemen whose wives and families not only no longer have their fathers, brothers, mothers and sisters, but those same families have had to apply for Welfare and Food stamps BECAUSE OF BUSH'S CUTS in Military Pay and Benefits, closing VA hospitals etc, to pay for the tax he was warned not to make for his rich friends but did anyway), again against almost every Democrat's protest. Youre like the little kid who screams "LET ME DO IT" gets in trouble, then starts crying to be saved.

NO you clowns have your backsides in deep kim-chi and all you can say is, "We're ready to admit we dont know what we're doing?" and STILL you want to blame everyone but yourselves for this mess we're all in now.

i haven't considered any anti-war protesters in view that Obama's been elected. perchance that's because of the fact in assessment to the prosperous morons at AIG that Obama voted to bail out, i've got not got cable. I did see protesters on known television channels whilst Bush replaced into prez, so perchance that's purely that they are pleased with war as long as a democrat is prez.

well... first... some have offered up alternatives... see the other question for mine...

but, to raise another point, I think if you see someone doing something wrong... you should speak up, even if you don't know how to fix it... acknowledging a problem is the first step to fixing it...

do you really think that if everyone got out of the way, everything would turn out "peachy"? that the only problem with the war is public support?

I think that a sad excuse for a sadly executed war/rebuilding attempt... Bush apologized for it last night even...

I think Democrats wanted an increase in troops that would lead to a pullout on a deadline... not just throwing troops into Iraq with the same strategies, or lack there of...

Because I think that is all they are good for. To criticize. Youll see just wait till all the liberals or the high schoolers who know nothing start answering this question. They wont admit it either. Yet its so obvious. They rather point fingers instead of trying to get things done. I dont understand it.
I havent heard anything from liberals on how Pelosi said she supported the idea of sending more troops before, but now the Bush is attempting that, her and her buddies are against it. They are only out to hate on Bush and are just hungry for power that they dont even know what to do with. Its sad and in the next few years are country will be in a great decline because of this.

*added - See what did I tell you. Still no legitamate answers from liberals. Just their usual nonesense.

BERT T is wrong. There is a long list of people who supported the war at the begining. Many being Democrats. So I stopped reading right there. Youre wrong. Get your facts straight

republicans handle it.???? wow what a concept funny that for the most part the soldiers that are there are 90% democrat. they are the ones who have to HANDLE IT not the stuffed shirts in the whitehouse and the republican crooks who have bilked Iraq out of millions and killed over 300.000 of their countrymen...now if the republicans want to send their sons and daughters along with the bush twins id gladly support their push

I think they do offer alternative views but that's just me paying attention and you not I guess.

If there was no complaining than Bush would probably continue to sit by, do nothing and watch it continue to be a disaster. At least they are forcing him to do something differant. It might not work, but at least it's something...

It's Bush's war so we should get out of the way?
IT'S MY COUNTRY THAT MORON IS DRAGGING THROUGH THE MUD WITH THE TORTURE AND SECRET PRISONS AND KIDNAPPINGS AND EMBASSY ATTACKS AND SUCH MASSIVE INCOMPETENCE IT WILL BE USED AS AN EXAMPLE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS!
Get your rose colored blinders off and see it for the disaster it is.

Indeed. I agree.

Bert, you are wrong. Kerry and Hillary both voted in favor of Iraq. Along with the congressional majority required to go to war.

Just because we didn't finish it in 6 months, is no excuse to blame Bush.

You don't understand. These people hate Bush so much that their #1 priority is to cause him to fail. They don't seem to care what this does to the country.
