Can anyone honestly say that the quality of care will be worth receiving? it will be much crappier than private plans for certain, and turn our health system canadian.

to make matters worse, it would be funded primarily by people who could buy better health insurance on behalf of those who can't afford insurance.

why aspire to provide crappy services? start an ngo or charity like any self respecting philanthropist, fund it through donations, and keep your hands off my money!

Sounds like the Soviet Union to me. Take away good health care from those of us who are willing to pay for it and give everyone substandard health care. (I always paid for health insurance, even when I was eating raman noodles, living paycheck to paycheck. I wanted to be able to get excellent care if I needed it).

Your nuts.

We currently have "universal healthcare" for the GOVERNMENT workers. We taxpayers will pay for their (and their spouses) healthcare for LIFE.

While a huge percentage of the population cannot afford to go to the doctor at all.

Seems fair to me. I would agree with your assumptions if we were to only give government workers the same care as the AVERAGE citizen. THAT will never happen.

Every American deserves the same level of healthcare as our employees do. Only fair.

Insurance & pharmaceutical companies have brainwashed you. Check some facts and then form an opinion.

They are honest. When you get on in your years and your health goes downhill, you will see why universal health care is worth it. Sometimes it can be one lousy accident that messes up your health for life. Think twice!

Something is better than nothing.. And what makes you think it will be so "crappy"??

hahaha... "Yo it's Me" sounds like he would jump the line in front of a "critical care" patient because he has a cold and is willing to pay more.. What a a@@!!!

amen and to the first idiot who answered. I pay 500.00 month for insurance and I get great insurance and health care but they raised it another 50.00 per month to cover costs that everyone else raised because of illegals, and welfare ho's who are on medicaid as well.

I think they are not dishonest, they just are clueless. They should spend some time in the EU or in Canada.
