Just curious, I met a woman today at work who was on her 13th marriage. I am on my 1st and very happy.

As long as you get legally divorced you can get married as many times as you want until the day you die.

A person can legally get married as many times as they like. Providing that they are divorced from each of their previous marriages. As long as they are legally divorced and married to no one. They are free to get married.

I don't believe there is a limit on how many times you get married. You may want to question how you live your life if you are getting married often. Do you have problems staying with one person? If so, maybe marriage is not the answer.

I would think that as long as you are an adult and not married to someone else that you could get married as many times as you wanted too. Although I'm sure that if you got married and a week later wanted out, that it might be annulled instead of divorced.

Well my Mama got married and divorced 7 times.
As a child from that situation I can tell you it's no fun
So my answer is: either have no children or give your kids a break
p.s. she is bipolar and hated men...but I've been married 33 years to a teddy bear...go figure!!

A person can get legally married as many times as he/she wants as long as he/she terminates (ie., divorce or annull) the previous marriage. If you don't terminate your previous marriage, then you are engaging in polygamy which is illegal in the US.

Provided you get divorced in-between, as many times as you can convince somebody new to marry you with all those divorces under your belt.

That kinda makes me wonder how many divorces the most divorced person has....lol....50?....geesh....must be rich!!! im on my 1st and only and im going broke!! ill never marry again tho.....i learned my lesson..................another question after about the 10 wouldnt someone just be leery?? omg
