How is the correct way to put on eyeliner?

Start at the corner of the eye and get as close as possible to the lash line and line the bottom of the lid. Then line the top lid near the lash line. Use a liquid on the top and a pencil on the lower. Mary Kay has the best eye makeup their liquid is so great i use it on both top and lower lash line. Hope this helps you.

Truly depends upon your eye shape. But for a subtle day look just along the eyelash line is best. Just enough to make look like a natural line. Then for evening thicker and darker colors are ok.

If you use pencil eye liner you can melt it a liittle in a hair dryer so it will be easier to put on, blow on it and apply gently.

i put my eye liner on inside of my lower eyelid. (if it helps) where the eyelashes start. from front to back.
lightly at the front and a little bit thicker towards the back.

get a makeup book from the library. they show you TONS of ways to do stuff like that. I found one and it was cool. there are lots of books so just take half an hour and go find a book that helps you.

what color of eyes do you have? I have blue eyes and i line the top inside and the lower inside of my eyes with brown and i apply 1 coat of mascara. I get alot of compliments on it. It seems to make them look bigger and brighter.

it depends who you are and what look you're going for...

i use a fine line of liquid liner on my top lip and then a smudgey pencil for the outer half of my bottom lip... i like it :)
