The Fire Temple On Ocarina of Time I have the key I'm in the room I just can't get to the Boss door!

You didn't hit the pillar in the floor above did you?
What you need to do is go to the room directly above where you met Darunia. You should see the top of a pillar there. Whack it with the Megaton Hammer and it will fall, creating a bridge to the boss room

I'm going to assume you're asking about The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and you're asking about the first temple.
If I'm right, you need to save all of the monkeys--8 in all.
