you're going to think I'm a perv but I had a gf who swore orgasms really helped them... so if you're open to masturbation give that a shot. otherwise, midol, bananas, excercise, and heat, take a hot bath.

@ curious g, I wasn't suggesting sex, but an orgasm... orgasms cause contractions of the muscles around the uterus, which makes them ease up... girls don't usually orgasm from sex, so masturbation would be better, BUT, as far as being messy, there's nothing wrong with sex in the shower while on your period ;)

attempt taking discomfort killers designed for cramps alongside with Midol. you additionally can attempt a warm tub, a heating pad on your tummy, or a warm pc on your tummy (then you definitely can do issues on the pc and get your recommendations off the cramps). exercising facilitates some human beings (till now your era, no longer once you're hurting). Curling up in a cushty place and conserving it facilitates too in case you will come across a cushty positions!

A week to two weeks before it next month, take Aleve or pain reliever to prepare your body. The cramps will be less painful and when you take some Aleve or pain reliever at that time, it WILL work and not just feel like it is taking the "edge" off.

IBuprofen. Advil.
In my case I was having VERY bad pains. and if its bad that Advil isnt working, go to an GYN. I am now on a low dose of birth control, since there really is nothing for period cramps.

I've tried sex and it didn't work besides it gets messy. I've been taking Aleve but after a while it doesn't help anymore. Therefore, I take dayquil. Yes it is very strong but it works! Try exercising, consume ginger, heating pad (didn't work), medication or get on the birth control pill.

Exercising is very good, and don't take any caffeine. Also, don't eat any sugary or fatty things, like candy. Aspirin is very good, and heating your back and stomach too. Massages or even just rubbing where it hurts should help as well.

Working out is probably the better one. Try not to take Pamprin or Midol. They thin out your blood and make your period last longer.
