Most companies don't mail them out until the last week of January. Don't worry they'll be here before you know it.

All employers are required to mail W2's by Jan. 31st. If you don't get them by mid Feb. try to contact the employer. YOu may not receive them if the employer doesn't have your current address or if you left on bad terms. However, if you are not on good terms with the employer or you can't get a hold of them, you can contact the IRS, (make sure you have the name and address and phone number of the employer handy, you can find that on the internet,) and they will make contact with the employer. The IRS can fine an employer for failing to send out W2's.

According to the paper this morning the w-2's have to be mailed out by the employer by January 31.

They have until Jan 31st to get them to you. Most places wait until the last week to give/send them out.
