No. Unfortunately, as soon as you decide that you really aren't interested in a relationship wonderful men will be throwing themselves at you. I decided that at age 19 and sure enough within a month I met the man of my dreams! But I refused to acknowledge his dreaminess. Fortunately, he was a manly man who knew what he wanted and stuck around anyway. We've been married 17 years now.

No not at all, I think alot of women think they have to have a man in their life to be happy, But to be able to be content with yourself is a good thing. To have time for yourself, to know yourself, their are always family and friends, and maybe one day you will want a man in your life, but if you are satisfied now without one then that's okay too! You are not weird because you feel that way!

Not at all! You don't need a man if you don't want one in order to be happy in life. And wanting to be alone doesn't mean you're a "lesbo" either! For crying out loud! What is with some people?!?

Hey, maybe you have an independent personality. That's o.k. but remember you do need people. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be single. There's a lot more you can do as a single than you can if you're involved with someone or married. And no, it doesn't mean your a lezbo!!

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be alone for a while. It does not mean you're a lesbian.

I'd say that you sound sensible to me. Not everybody wants or needs a man in their lives, any more than everybody wants or needs anything else in their lives. Everyone is different; go with what makes sense for YOU.

I think it's weird when people NEED a man/woman in their lives all the time.

Being alone is how we get in touch with who we are and what we want out of life.

I think you're fine.

No, I was like that at one point. I didn't want to commit my time to anyone 24/7 and have someone in my face all the time.

No, because a lot of times you need to be alone with yourself, if only to figure out who you really are and what you really want out of life.
