I really like this guy and I told him the other day its my bday Thursday should he calll me and tell me Happy Birthday? Or maybe he doesn't care.

No no no. Grown men who have a calendar right in front of their faces all day forget their loved one's birthdays! What chance does a guy friend have?? There are more important things than that. If he remembers too late or finds out he forgot, forgive him because it's the other 364 days of the year that count!! Is he a good friend? Then he's important. Remember that please. (And remember he might be low on cash too and guys can't pick out cards because they don't want to find out they CAN!!!)

It doesn't mean he doesn't care, he just forgot, or he remembered but he didn't know that it was a rule to call someone on their birthday.
I'm a woman, and I have never ever called a friend on their birthday, but perhaps maybe I should start to... I didn't realize it was a rule. I usually say "Happy Birthday" the next time I see them.

I imagine if he has remembered your birthday for the past three years, he won't forget it this year. Hopefully, he has already called or shown up. If he hasn't, he may have a very good explanation.

We don't know. People can care for other people even if they don't wish them a Happy Birthday. I would not put a condition on it like that. If you want to know if he cares about you, then ask him.

I hate to tell you this but a lot of men have all the sensitivity of a water buffalo.
It's not so much that he doesn't like you as much as he doesn't think about others. You may have to train him to be more sensitive, or you can look for a more sensitive kinda guy.

It could be a number of reasons why he didn't call.You didn't mention if he knew you felt that way about him or if he feels the same way about you.It could be a deciding factor in how important your b-day greeting would be from him!!!!
