im using this forum,because you guys give the best answers,i have alot of free time and would like to pick up a trade or skill possibly at a community college,but not neccasarilly,i live in socal any recommendations? ten points for the best answer

You can complete most jobs in 1 to 2 days and an the average tiling of a kitchen you can make anywhere from 600 to 2000 just in labor depending on how much the customer wants done and its fairly easy to learn I was a helper for about a year and got good enough to do it myself and have on several occasions done 1 day jobs and made 700 dollars just in labor

My sons in law are in the trades. one is a second year plumber, already making16 an hour(union wages) and the other is a first year welder, making between 15 and 18 an hour(non union). My brother a journeyman carpenter, remakes kitchens, is a contractor, and makes upwards of $100,000 a year. The money is good, and as long as houses and offices are being built, there is work.
