Shadow of the Colossus is unique, unrivaled, and a genre unto itself. It is 16 boss fights, with no other fights at all. It will make you think, make you frustrated, and make you happy when you figure out the puzzle.
The Two Thrones is standard 3-D PoP fare. It takes some combat from the second, and the time powers/acrobatics of the first, but it's not worth a buy in comparison to Shadow.

Shadow of the Colossus, hands down. Two Thrones was a fun platformer, but Shadow of the Colossus is a revolutionary game, with no rivals and no copy-cats. It is gorgeous to watch and amazingly fun to play.
