I would take what photos I could get from her and learn how to find a photographer next time. But to sue in court would be a big mistake-you will loose, again!
Unless you had a contract stipulating some quality control, then you will be responsible to pay her all you agreed on.

Whether it's worth the time and effort is up to you. I've seen people go in to Judge Judy for $50, and she'll tell them they're idiots and then award the $50 anyway.
Small claims is for judgments up to $2500 in my state, it might be a little higher where you're at. They call it "small claims" for a reason.
If you're going to go to court, sue for the entire package (everything you paid in $$ and have receipts for). Take the video and photos with you to demonstrate their quality.
Photographers who are in business to make money are covered by something called "warranty of merchantibility", meaning what they sell has to be sellable, of at least ordinary quality that a reasonable person would be willing to pay for.
You can win on that alone, since you and your wedding guests relied upon a quality product and paid for it. Reasonable people expect wedding photos to be of fairly high quality, actually.

Probably not. it depends how much your time is worth. small claims is quite time consuming and may take several days out of your life before the court actually does get to your case. You may get a court date, but usually, not a specific time. if any of the cases that get heard, before yours tak up a long time, yours may get postponed till the next day. In the meantime - you have to be there. If your case comes up and you are absent, it will be dismissed. Usually, there is no second chance (no appeal) for the plaintiff.

I understand that you are upset about this, as I would be too....I mean it's your wedding date. But seriously I don't think $350.00 is worth going to small claims court. I wouldn't waste my time anyway. But if you spent over $1,000.00 I would say do your thing girl!
And congrats on the date, it is a blessing!

No because the problem with small claims court is you may still never see your money.

I would. We had a terrible dj at our wedding he fought with me the whole night over songs WE had requested. I told him right then and there that we were NOT paying and that I would tell everyone I knew that he sucked! He agreed and we went our separate ways. Good luck!

I would as you relied on her to capture your special day and did a poor job. And you have photos and video as evidence. Just be sure it's bad from many people's perception, not just yours.

It all depends on what you could gain from doing it.
They can not remake the video or give the moment back.

No, I don't think it is worth the hassle. 350 is a lot but the headache and time would be a lot more

No. That's chump change. Your time is far more valuable and you will be wasting a lot of it fighting that battle.
