No, not all italians have blue eyes. In fact, some Italians (and many other inhabitants of the mediterranean) have dark eyes. Not to say all do, but a good chunk of the population. These darker features are especially common in southern italy. There are Italians of many features though, and there's no set of traits to look for when trying to point out an italian person. Btw, Styers isn't and doesn't sounds Italian. Be happy with whatever ethnic background you, or whoever has that last name, has.

They can. I have two friends who are Italian-one has brown eyes, the other, blue. Most people think Italians have a Mediterannean look because that's what's on TV, but northern Italy is very close to Switzerland, and many northern Italians have blue eyes or blond hair.

A lot of people above me are saying that Italians have blue eyes but most of them don't. Italians have a darker complexion, dark hair (brown, most likely) that could be either wavy or curly, and their eyes are dark. Either brown or hazel. I have an Italian friend and her and her family all are like that.

I think they used to back in the days. My ex's grandfather was 100% Italian and had very blue eyes.

Yes. Some people who come from Northern Italy have light eyes and hair. That all Italians are dark-eyed and dark-haired and have olive complexions is a stereotype.

The answer to that is yes, but does depend on a few things. In the North of Italy, especially Lombardy and the areas bordering the Alps, the people are "white" and of Germanic stock and thus much more likely to have blonde hair, thin noses, be taller and more muscular, and of course have green, grey, hazel, and blue eyes as many white people do. In the South of Italy, especially Sicily, the people are far more likely, and in some regions virtually guaranteed to have African, Corsican, Meditteranean, or other racial intermix, thus making them far more likely to have darker skin, kinkier hair, flatter and rounder noses and of course, brown eyes.

I have several Italian friends and they all have really dark eyes. My cousin is half Italian, but she has blue eyes, but pretty much only because her dad had really blue eyes. I don't think they nromally do.
