If you've used a brand, or know someone who has, what do you recommend? Mostly, am trying to keep dust mites out of linens, and infrequently used blankets, clothes, tablecloths and clothes. Have washed them in De-Mite, will this suffocate remaining mites? Don't suggest $800 dry steamer! Too $$!! Thanks

You can do the same thing with a large trash bag and don't have to spend the money on those space bags. Just wash and dry your clothes as normal and then place them in the bag. Gather up the open end of the bag and wrap around the vacuum hose, turn it on and when it's done sucking all the air out twist the end and put a twisty tie around it. You may want to tape it as well to make sure air doesn't get back into it. Hope this helps

Good Luck and God Bless

I always wash and dry the items before putting them in the Space Bags. I had a problem when I first used mine. I had to run the zipper across several times to create a seal.

in simple terms use a straw. You stick the straw into the bag to the position that is in simple terms above regardless of's in there. then you definately zip the bag closed on both fringe of the straw, so it type of seals around the straw. Then suck as a lot air out as you are able to and, in a unmarried speedy flow, pull the straw out of the bag and seal it thoroughly. i take advantage of my the teeth to tug out the straw (that is in my mouth, besides, and frees up my fingers to seal the bag).
