What is the haunting trumpet solo played behind the latest Marks and Spencers ad - its the usual food ad with green beans tumbling about in slow motion, what have you, but that music is absolutely gorgeous. Anyone know what it is?

Thank you, but it is NOT Albatross. It was released in the UK about four years ago. Albatross is a is a guitar-based instrumental by Fleetwood Mac composed by Peter Green released as a single in 1969.

It's called "Albatross" by the original Fleetwood Mac, and was released in 1969, AND it got to number 1 in the British charts
