Those two border patrol agents shot a Mexican drug dealer a couple weeks ago and the Bush Administration supported sending the border patrol agents to jail for several years.
If you disagree with the Bush Administration on this issue (for once), I applaud you.

Michael N doesn't pay attention to what is going on or else he would have heard about this. We should all laugh at his ignorance.

I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but Bush and his administration had nothing to do with that. The government has no control over the court of law. Although I think it's wrong to punish them, this was determined in a court of law. The Bush Administration had nothing to do with it. It's amazing what people will come up with to blame Bush. First he was responsible for 9/11 in some way or another, then he was responsible for the documents that sent us to war in Iraq being false. Then he was responsible for Katrina. (I guess he's some kind of god that controls the hurricanes we have.)What about FEMA? Now he's responsible for this? I'm just curious to see what people come up with next. Seriously, people need to get a life. This bickering and moaning isn't gonna do anybody any good. It's stupid.
Where is your proof that what you said about being berated actually happened. All I heard about was the courts making this decision. I'm an active reader of the news and I'm still curious as to where you got this information that you claim oh so dearly is true. Please, I'd be more than happy if you would send me a link.

it was more than a couple of weeks ago that they were convicted for shooting a drug dealer. in the buttocks, i believe. they're due to start serving their sentences this week.
this is a travesty, and i'm furious about it. i have signed a few petitions and fired off some letters. oh, have you heard the drug dealing scum is suing us for 5 million? what nerve.
i do think that these guys should be pardoned. (i think it was a travesty some prosecutor pressed charges against them in the first place.) i believe the governor of their state has that ability? and if they choose not to act on it, someone sure in the hell needs to.
Michael N, the asker may be referring to some congressmen (a little over 60, i think i read) having sent Bush letters asking him to look into it and to get involved on the agents' behalf. they have as yet received no answer.

Since Bush took office 8 years ago, cocaine prices have dropped by half. i can get a gram of pure for 40 bucks. Bushco supports cocaine trafficking into the USA, its big buisness for many people. If the border agent shot before being shot at, i do support the Bush Admin, Police think they are above the law and I cant help but smile when one gets sent up the river. I bet that cop enjoys his stay in prison as immates LOVE cops.

Actually most Conservatives disagree completely with Bush's stance on Immigration. It is one of his most liberal traits and it annoys the heck out of us. This is complete crap that these two men, doing their job are going to prison. Nobody in government is listening to the American people on this issue. The Influx of illegals is bad for our country, giving them social security is worse, punishing the men whose job it is to stop them is despicable.
We had a letter writing and phone call campaign asking Bush to pardon them, but he did not. And we are not happy with him.

The agents shot the guys in the BACK. That is not acceptable.
Whatever you think about drugs or the people that bring them to the millions of Americans that want them, it is not a capitol crime,
A cop's gun is not a tool to enforce the law. It is only to be used to protect the life of the cop or others.
Lock 'em up.
