You can take pre-law, but realize that many law schools dislike people who take too many law classes in undergrad. This is because they train you to think a certain way in law school. They have no way of knowing who or how you were trained in those undergrad law classes. They've found that they usually have to untrain people who took law classes in college. That's more work than training an blank mind. So, they look down on people who do that for undergrad.

Instead, you should find a major in an area where you want to practice law in. Say you want to do business law. If so, start taking as many business classes as possible. You can take business law in law school.

Stetson University. The main campus for Stetson is located in DeLand but the law school is located in Gulfport with a campus in Tampa.

The College of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association and has been a member of the American Association of Law Schools since 1931.

Founded in 1900, Stetson is Florida's first law school.

I took a graduate degree from Stetson in DeLand and am aware that Stetson is one of the outstanding law schools in the nation. Ranked #1 in the nation in trial advocacy by U.S. News and #3 (tied) in legal writing in 2006. Over the past dozen years, the school's advocacy program has been ranked first in the nation eight times, and second three times.

Try FSU, but whatever you do, DON'T major your b.a. or b.s in law! For some reason, laws schools are turned off by that.
