I am a cheerleader and I just dont understand why a Lot of mainly GIRLS hate cheerleaders cuz I am nice and everyone is always so stereotypical!

Because first of all they are b!tches, second of all, they wish they could make the team! I cheer lead too and i get the same problem!!

They don't HATE cheerleaders...Or, maybe they do, but it's not every one of those girls. or guys. It's mostly because a lot of people see that cheerleaders are always these lifeless perky girls who just jump and scream...But i understand that there is a lot to it, not just that. It takes talent and yes i know the rest, but it's just people sometimes get the stereotypical point of view because of movies. Otherwise a lot of cheerleaders are nice and stuff.

SOME and I don't mean you,but SOME cheerleaders walk around school with a stick up their butt.It's very rare to see a cheerleader acknowledge someone from out side their "Clique",especially the nerds like I was.

It's life...a lot of people mask their own insecurities by trying to make others feel bad....anyone who hates you simply because you are a cheerleader isn't worth caring about so the best thing to do is simply ignor them....sadly, they are simply trying to get a reaction out of you in order to make themselves feel more adequate...I'd like to say that people outgrow this type of thing but many don't so it's a good life lessson to learn at an early age.

Because a lot of guys would rather look at you cheerleaders. Seriously, the girls who hate cheerleaders are simply jealous of your looks. That is all there is too it.

People on the outside of any select group will always resent it. The membership implies a lot, reminds folks of elitism.
Our high school cheerleaders were usually honor students. Probably true with your group, too.
Folks never judge you based on who you are but on what you represent to them.

cheerleaders used to be just snobby mean ppl but now it has changed but ppl dont accept that it has changed and h8 cheerleaders. i kno it sucks but its the cold hard truth. just b nice and show ppl that even tho u r a cheerleader u r a wonderful person

uhh... well i don't hate cheerleaders we also dont have them at my school because they are not allowed anymore but im sorry why would you EVER want to be a cheerleader than be one of the ones PLAYING on the field???

AT MY HIGH SCHOOL THE CHEERLEADERS ARE UGOS AND NOT TOO MENTION ANNOYING. THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING AT OUR GAMES. THE FANS CHEER AND BOOST THE TEAMS UP THE MOST. CHEERLEADERS ARE JUST....THERE. the cheerleaders are always the ones to get the guys and they are also jealous because of your looks.,they could be also jealous because they arent skilled enough to do what you can do just ignore the people who steriotype you, football is one of the greatest sports,
